- Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten various commodities, components, parts, sub-assemblies, or units to chassis in required order and sequence.- Work from Engineering specifications (work instructions), sketches, schematic diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions.- Perform necessary adjustments as unit progresses down assembly line.- Record defects that require off-line and on-line corrections.  Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, excessive continuation of defective parts, improper function, and assembling to proper supervison or management.- Visually check parts and entire assemblies for completeness, function, operation, and appearance.- Assist in the development of assembly practices and procedures.- Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.- May perform touch-up or small repair work when assigned.- Perform other duties as required or directed.Overtime may be required in addition to occasional Saturday operations.

- Mechanical setup, maintenance, and teardown of lab test stands.- Installation, removal, and maintenance of lab test loading equipment, such as air brakes, dynamometers, hydraulic brakes, and others.- Installation and removal of test samples from test stands, including installation and removal of measurement instruments and associated wiring.- Complete the hands-on assembly, disassembly, and inspection of components under test, including transmissions, axles, gearboxes, hydraulic valves, pumps, cylinders, etc., with close attention paid to engineering assembly specification detail for precision components.- Communicate any assembly/fit-up issues identified during assembly of prototype units to appropriate engineers, along with any proposals for improvement in ease of assembly.- Operate basic shop power tools, such as bandsaw, drill press, grinders, for custom modification or making of test fixture or test parts.- Monitor parts/material inventory and report needs to leadership.- Interface effectively with support groups and customers, such as Design Engineering, Materials Engineering, Analysis, and Manufacturing. - Communicate information with others effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Aluminum Welder Responsibilities:- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions utilizing either GMAW or GTAW.- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding - Prepare all material surfaces to be welded in accordance with cleanliness and bevel requirements - Cut aluminum extrusions to length as needed using saws- Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors- Examine workpieces for defects and ensure conformance with specifications- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade- Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment- Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations- Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required- Maintain welding equipment- Inspect completed work to ensure quality requirements are met- Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torches, and hand tools

Test engineering technician to support the tractor validation process in tractor product development- Diagnose, repair and document issues found on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components on Ag machinery or test systems- Perform assembly and fit-up during assembly of prototype units and provide technical feedback to appropriate engineers, along with any proposals for improvement in ease of manufacturing- Operate electronic service tool for vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting and update vehicle software on test vehicles using laptops and telematic equipment- Execute whole vehicle and/or component level tests in lab, track, and field environments- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration activities of assigned cell areas, test equipment, instrumentation & tools- Travel to customer and dealer sites as needed
